This is the next-gen Mazda 6

I love the sleek futurism, including the two creases that trail back from the hood and front fender onto the sides of the car. This a VERY slightly tamed production version of their previous Shinari concept as I so hoped.

Give Me A Fucking Break!

I'll keep astrophysics  and evolution out of your church services and you keep your faith masquerading as "science" out of our schools!

Wonderful New Views Of A Gorgeous Extended Range Electric Sports Car

I love this thing and I hope it goes into production as is with no "watering down" of the radical design. This is the first time in a few years I've gone this mental over a concept car.

'Amelie' and

My friends Pat and Lyn over the last few weeks turned me onto dinner followed by these two quirky, creative and very human films by the same gifted director, Jean-Pierre Jeune. Heartwarming and charming!

Here in 2012 I am still uplifted, mystified and inspired by this "song" by The Beatles

Nissan Ellure concept car

I'd so hoped that this was a sneak peek at the next-gen Altima, but an image accidentally leaked in a Nissan video reveals it was just the "design inspiration" of a MUCH tamer looking  production car. DANG!

      Last Night

Last night
the breeze through my bedroom window
was cool and carried distant train song,
and the scent of leaves  bruised by frost.
The sheets were crisp against my neck.
I studied moon shadows on the wall.

I heard a bobwhite
cry out in the autumn dark.....
if that moment could have been held
it would be gem,
be lense.

Soon I dreamed of the black lip of a midnight tide
moonlit and creeping inland;
a scent of wet algae and
stars......
the metallic taste of mystery.

I dreamed of a moonlit glass train,
the transparent cars roaring past me
just as the first snow of the year began.

There was no smoke,
no whistle of heat and steam,
only the smile of the waving engineer
and the gleam of clear wheels on steel.
