I've not written a poem in easily 15 years, but from my mid teens to my early 40s poetry was a primary medium for me. I spotted this one today in an old copy of my self published magazine THE GARDEN DOCTOR (1987-1997) as Renee and I tidied up my office. I forgotten about it, was nice to see it again....one of my better ones.
