I now and then enjoy taking various models of Federation starships and modifying/combining them into designs that would allow (in "real" life) the ship to at least enter a planet's atmosphere controllably, and/or fly in it like an aircraft. To me, this one I did years ago looks a little awkward, but it was a fun project. I have a few more model kits to work with, but first I will finish another one in progress I will share pics of soon.
