On 9-11, despite my being filled with horror and rage and fear like most Americans, when Building 7 dropped, and in the manner it did, I was immediately suspicious. The next day, when the Bush regime somehow knew, without presenting ANY evidence that Bin Laden did it, said he did it, then miraculously posted photos of all seventeen hijackers who supposedly died in the impacts, and claimed to have somehow found Atta's passport, INTACT, in the rubble around the World Trade Center, I began to deeply doubt the official story. Let's not forget that the US staged and lied about the "Gulf of Tonkin Incident" so as to expand dramatically the Vietnam War, which created MANY millionaires. To see 1,500 architects and engineers say that the presence of nano-thermite in the 9-11 dust samples, that NO steel building had EVER collapsed from fire vs. three in ONE day, and eyewitness testimony about explosions in the basements plus seeing molten steel (produced only by thermite in such a setting) makes me also demand a REAL investigation this time vs. the joke of one done by the Bush Regime. The evidence and history both suggest that 9-11 was a "false flag" operation to expand the Empire designed to rally the US public into supporting invading Iraq and Afghanistan, both RICH in resources, as is, curiously, Libya. If crimes of such magnitude were commited by the Bush Regime, justice is LONG overdue. This 15 minute video by that organization of engineers and architects is damning to the official account of 9-11. John

My Newest Airworthy Starship Design Proposal

I mothballed this one a couple years ago. Back then a sci-fi friend wanted me to add engines to ALL the wings as homage to both the Romulan Warbirds and the main ship in 'Battlestar Galactica'. But now, with it having been out of sight out of mind for about 2 years, I like my original design theme of a winged U.S.S. Enterprise that could fly in a planet's atmosphere and land on the surface, heresy to most Trekkers. The 10 year old in me LOVES the looks of this thing! All that remains is to resolve the gap in the upper surface of the fuselage, choose a spray paint color to visually tie together the various components from models and toys, rub it lightly with dry soil to "age" it like Gerry Anderson did his models, then apply the appropriate decals. I may call it the Enterprise G. Enjoy, John

Short but superb clip about the making of 'Yellow Submarine'

The year the movie 'Yellow Submarine'  came out I was loving poetry by e.e. cummings and Rod McKuen and still reeling from 'I Am The Walrus' and Sgt. Pepper. Poetry was my sole creative medium then. Here it is 2011 and I am STILL reeling from all that and more. If this is a case of arrested development, I'm grateful. I loved this movie then, had a VHS of it for a few years then it broke, and I've yet to fnd this wonderfully evocative trippy animated film on DVD despite many searches. But I look forward to viewing it once again but THIS time, deliciously altered, bathed by my surround sound system.

I know The Beatles were "just a band", four guys whose energies synchronized with culture and events. And to me that is the magic of the gifts they gave the world along with their wondrous music.

Nice to see, belatedly, how this wonderful movie came about. Enjoy, John
